The breath is a living reminder of balance — between effort and ease, holding on and letting go, doing and being. Through conscious breathing, we are invited to reconnect with ourselves beneath the noise of everyday life and remember our innate capacity for healing, clarity, vitality, and presence.
This full-day urban retreat offers a unique opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life without leaving the city. Through movement, breathwork, authentic connection, voice work, and embodied exploration, we create a space for deep nourishment, self-discovery, and renewal.
Essence Breathwork is a somatic and trauma-informed approach to conscious connected breathing. It is based on the understanding that body, mind, emotions, and consciousness are deeply interconnected. By working with the breath in a safe and supportive environment, we can access the body's natural intelligence, release accumulated tension, and cultivate greater resilience, self-awareness, and inner balance.
Drawing from body-oriented therapy, neuroscience, trauma-informed approaches, relational group work, contemplative traditions, and years of therapeutic experience, this retreat invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself and the life moving through you.

The Retreat Experience
The day begins with grounding practices, intention setting, and a gentle arrival into the space.
Throughout the retreat, we will explore a variety of embodied practices designed to deepen awareness and reconnect you with your natural vitality:
Somatic Movement & Embodiment
Gentle movement practices help awaken body awareness, release tension, and create greater freedom of movement and expression.
Group Processing & Authentic Relating
Through guided reflection exercises and group processes, we explore how we show up in relationship with ourselves and others. These practices support self-awareness, connection, and the possibility of being seen beyond habitual roles and patterns.
Voice Activation & Expression
The voice is a powerful bridge between the inner and outer world. Through playful and experiential exercises, we explore sound, expression, resonance, and the liberating potential of giving voice to what lives within us.
Energy in Motion
Many of us have learned to suppress emotions, impulses, and life force energy. Through movement, breath, and awareness practices, we explore how energy naturally moves through the body when given space and permission. These practices can foster a deeper sense of vitality, creativity, freedom, and aliveness.
Essence Breathwork Journey
The central practice of the day is a deep guided Essence Breathwork session. Supported by music, facilitation, and a safe container, this conscious breathing journey can open the door to profound insight, emotional release, nervous system regulation, and expanded states of awareness.
Integration & Rest
The retreat concludes with time for integration, reflection, and sharing. We create space to digest the experience and support a grounded transition back into everyday life.

No previous experience is necessary. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Contraindications
Essence Breathwork is safe for most people but is not suitable for those with:
Pregnancy
Epilepsy
High blood pressure
Cardiovascular disease
High inner eye pressure
Clinical anxiety or panic attacks
Psychosis
A history of stroke
Recent surgery (wounds, broken bones still healing)

Missed Sessions
Due to the small group size, missed workshops, whether due to illness or other reasons, cannot be rescheduled or replaced.

Do not have severe medical conditions or take strong medications.
Health Considerations for Breathwork
Breathwork is an intense practice and is unsuitable for individuals with any of the following conditions:Pregnancy or having given birth within the last six months.
Heart or cardiovascular conditions.
Glaucoma.
Asthma or epilepsy.
Severe mental health issues, such as psychosis.
Contagious or infectious illnesses.
